How do I enable Pop-Ups when accessing HRS

When accessing your HRS account you may find that your web-browser may block any ‘Pop-up’ windows. This is set to be turned on by browsers typically by default as a means to create a secure internet experience.

The steps needing to be taken allow ‘Pop-ups’ will depend on the program that you are using

This web-page will take you through how to enable Pop-Ups on your computer for the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer
• FireFox
• Chrome

INTERNET EXPLORER

When accessing HRS via Internet Explorer when the ‘Pop-up’s are blocked will provide you with the following error:

 

To allow full access to the HRS site press ‘Ok’ on the error message displayed. On the bottom of the screen you will notice a yellow bar stating that Internet Explorer has blocked a Pop-Up from *.preceda.com.au (This is the HRS site). Choose ‘Options for this site’ and ‘Always allow’ as per the diagram below:

 

A refresh of the page will need to be done to complete the setup. This can be done by pressing F5 on your keyboard or by clicking the refresh button at the end of the taskbar.

 

 

Click on 'Retry'

FIREFOX

When the Pop-Up blocker for Firefox is enabled you will receive the following message.

 

You will notice that Firefox has a yellow bar across the top of the screen. By selecting ‘Options’ you’ll be provided with to ‘Allow pop-ups from www.preceda.com.au’.

 

Select to allow Pop-ups from the site. You may need to re-log back in for the page to load.

CHROME

Accessing HRS in Chrome is similar to Internet Explorer in how to allow pop-ups. Similar to Internet Explorer, in Chrome you will be presented with a warning that the site has been blocked.

 

Press OK.

In the top-right hand corner you will find an icon with a red-cross. Click this to open the drop-down menu.

 

You will be presented with two options. As shown in the diagram below, select ‘Always allow pop-ups from https://www.preceda.com.au’ and click ‘Done’

 

 

When completed, refresh your page by pushing F5 on your PC to gain access to HRS.
